In the dead of winter, only 9 days after the groundhog told us we had no hope for another 6 weeks, we met for our monthly winter tradition. On the second Wednesday of each month, Pints + Pistons, is our chance to get together, watch some motorcycle videos, eat some good food and share a pint or two. The movie for the night was The 12 O’Clock Boys, a documentary about wheelie-popping kids from the streets of Baltimore, MD. Drawing our biggest P+P crowd of over 20 riders, the film turned out to not engage the audience. We gave up midway through the showing and switched back to motorcycle-build clips.
We took the opportunity to introduce the next DC motorcycle group, Two for the Soul. Grown out of a former Pints + Piston night, the concept is a Motorcycle Collective that is not brand specific. More so, it’s culture specific – highlighting DIY build culture and garage customization. Check out the website and facebook group, and be prepared to see this group grow.
