Meet Up at Hess Gas Station 7PM
520 Florida Ave NE
Washington, DC 20002
We’ll rally there – and then line up and roll out at 7:30pm. With a group ride in – we’ll be escorted to the front of the parking lot with a great view of the flick (Eddie Murphy’s Distinguished Gentleman).
NOTE: Those who don’t ride in with the group are not guaranteed upfront parking.
Plenty of food and drink is available for purchase – delivered by roller skating wait staff. There’s no seating – other than your bike. Bring a blanket or folding chair if you wanna set up on the ground.
Check yourself in the mirror…
Pull the comb out of your back pocket…
Prep it to go through your “greaser” hair…
Realize you’re already too good looking for your own good…
Next to giving the magic punch to fix the jukebox, nothing says “Happy Days” like a drive-in movie. So let’s bring out our inner “fonzis” and go to the movies.
The folks at Union Market are bringing back the Drive-In Theater, right here in NE DC and they’ve asked us to bring some bikes for atmosphere.
July 19, 2013, ride your bike down to 6th and Florida Ave and check in to our reserved space in the parking lot. Avoid the urge to laugh at the cagers watching the flick, as we chill in the open air with plenty of available food and refreshments at the renovated Union Market.
The car reservations are full, but the folks at Union Market will rope off a section for us if we get a good crowd of vintage and modern classic two-wheelers.
RSVP ASAP to THIS EVENT PAGE so they know we’re coming!
