As beautiful as they may be, there are a lot of black Bonnevilles and Thruxtons out there. I almost lose my Evie in the parking lot. Being that it’s the middle of a cold winter, and I’m not getting much riding in – it seems like the perfect time to get a little work done to Evie…
Charlie and I drove up to 515 Moto in Baltimore, with my empty displaced gas tank in tow. Brilliant builder, Jeff Yarrington is taking on the task of stripping her down and clear-coating the bare, brushed metal tank. I’m excited to see what he comes up with. We’ll have the results soon…
In the meantime we explored the other projects going on at 515 – including a mad ninja project that could only come from the mind of Yarrington. On the way back to DC, we checked out the work of Charlie and Erik in “The 202 Garage.” Erik’s Harley Sporters getting “cafe’d” and Charlie’s beautiful Thruxton just waiting for a warm day to ride.
my thruxton is in that sea of motorcycles somewhere.
