When he died in 967, St. Swithin, the Saxon Bishop of Winchester, asked to be buried outside, so he would be trodden on and rained on.
Over the years, St. Swithin’s Day has become the UK’s version of Ground Hog’s Day. If it rains on St. Swithin’s Day – then there will be 40 days of rain in a row – if it is sunny on that day, the next 40 will be fine.
Being fans of British motorcycles, we’re going to be rooting for those 40 days to be filled with blue skies and sun.

Meet at Big Bear Cafe (1700 1st St NW Washington, DC 20001) at 11am. Kick Stands Up at 11:30am. We’ll tour south and east of the city and then return by 4pm to enjoy the lack of rain at Showtime Lounge.

We’ll rally there – and then line up and roll out at 7:30pm. With a group ride in – we’ll be escorted to the front of the parking lot with a great view of the flick (Eddie Murphy’s Distinguished Gentleman).
NOTE: Those who don’t ride in with the group are not guaranteed upfront parking.
Plenty of food and drink is available for purchase – delivered by roller skating wait staff. There’s no seating – other than your bike. Bring a blanket or folding chair if you wanna set up on the ground.

The folks at Union Market are bringing back the Drive-In Theater, right here in NE DC and they’ve asked us to bring some bikes for atmosphere.
July 19, 2013, ride your bike down to 6th and Florida Ave and check in to our reserved space in the parking lot. Avoid the urge to laugh at the cagers watching the flick, as we chill in the open air with plenty of available food and refreshments at the renovated Union Market.

Fall brings with it many great things. Good riding weather; darker beers; encased meats and girls in boots. We thought we’d throw together a little event recognizing this Autumnal awesomeness. To help us celebrate, we’ve reached out to some of DC’s finest; 13th St Meats provides the District witha bounty of artisanal Brats and Sausage, DC Brau has been at the forefront of the area’s brewing boom since 2009, and Breadsoda, DC Triumph’s home away from home. Come hang out with us, and enjoy the cooler days of DC on Breadsoda’s patio along with a cold beer and a tasty brat. We’ll see ya there; ride safe.

This ride marks the one year anniversary of the death of friend and rider Dmitri Medvedev. In honor of him and his love of the roads of West Virginia, our route will take us a bit into WV.
Café Racer XXX, The Terraplane Gallery, and Loaded Gun Customs (LGC) invite you to join our collaborative sixth annual OCBikiefest/ Delmarva Bike Week motorcycle party, Café Racer XXX one-year anniversary, and The Terraplane Gallery opening. This will be on the 2 acre Property of LGC a couple miles from Ocean City, MD and during the eventful weekend of OCBikefest/Delmarva Bike Week (September 11th – 15th), on the scenic Delmarva Peninsula.
We excited to announce the 2nd Annual Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride DC.
DC folks, meet us at Key Bridge Exxon at 11AM. KSU at 11:30. We’ll ride down GW Parkway to Misha’s in Old Town Alexandria. We’ll meet there at noon and roll again at 12:30pm. Ride through Old Town and back into DC through Barracks Row for photos at the Capitol. Well then move on to finish up at The Queen Vic.

This ride is not for the meek or lazy. It’s a get up and go kinda ride. First 45 min is highway riding to get to where the good stuff begins. Then, be ready for gorgeous Virginia countryside, beautiful farms, cows, horses, and maybe even a duck crossing? (Yes, it has happened.) This part of the trek is about an hour of non-stop winding roads with beautiful scenery. Last, we make a pit stop in Middleburg, before our return trip to urban living. The Westover Beer Garden will be our end point to reflect upon our ride and relax.

When a motorbike gang kills an occultist, the evil spirit he was summoning inhabits a damaged bike. The bike is then bought and restored, but reveals its true nature when it tries to exact vengeance on the gang, and anyone else who gets in its way.
