Distinguished Gentlemen Are We | September 29, 2013

Sunday’s International Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride was an amazing success. Suited up riders around the world saddled up and rode around nearly 150 cities. We, here in Washington, DC, had a mighty impressive group as well. Over 40 bikes piloted by gentleman and ladies did the run from Georgetown to Old Town and back to the Capitol (Thanks to our ride-along Capitol Police officers, we got some sweet, but short-term front-row parking spaces). The bikes and riders came from all around the region – even drawing in CafeRacer.xxx‘s Sasha Valentine from Baltimore.

The weather was perfect and so was the company. We even got some DCist press – with great photos from J. Levinson.

Below are shots from DC Triumph, Tony Gyepi-Garbrah of Gentlemen’s Brim, Nik Fialka and Aaron Brodsky.

Thanks to everyone for coming out.

The plan is to meet at the Poolesville Bikes and Breakfast (located at 19701 Fisher Ave, Poolesville, MD 20837) hang out for a bit and at 10:00 kick stands up for a ride through Barnesville, Sugarloaf, Clarksburg, Boyd’s, then back up to sugarloaf and...
