Back in March of 2013, we told you about Heather Johnson‘s cross-country trek from NYC to Joshua Tree, CA. She even hung out with us at the end of the first leg of her journey.
After a residence at BoxoHOUSE, she decided to change her life. She decided to keep riding and keep doing art from the locations she visited. Fast forward 2 years and she’s been up and down the Americas through the U.S. and Mexico. North America isn’t enough, though, so she’s starting a trek south through Mexico, Central America and South America.
I’ve ordered her book The Search for the Frightening and Beautiful and look forward to hear about her future journeys.
